Paul Smith's Financial Aid Portal
The Financial Aid Office will mail the initial award letter. It is the student's responsibility to review their financial aid on the portal. Students will receive a notification email that their financial aid has been revised. This portal will allow students to view their financial aid status, awards and any changes that are made.
A student needs to have submitted their FAFSA before they will be able to log into the Financial Aid Portal. If you are not completing a FAFSA please contact the Financial Aid Office to have your portal activated.
The Financial Aid Portal allows you to view the following:
- My Awards: View your financial aid awards
- Accept Awards: You will need to submit the "Terms and Conditions". This will allow you to accept/decline your financial aid
- Documents: This will itemize any documents needed to finalize your financial aid
- General Information: Any messages or information that is important for you to know
- Loans: All federal loans that you are eligible for
- Loan History: All cumulative student loans history
- Forms: All standard forms available for download
- Disbursements: All disbursement activity

First time user
Click on the First Time User link in the LOG IN box under the submit button. You will be prompted to enter your Student ID number. Answer two identity questions when prompted to do so. Once you are identified, you will create two security questions from the drop down menus. Below the security questions, you will find two fields to create your Password. The heading says “Change Password,” but as a First Time User, you will be creating one—don’t worry about the heading. Enter a Password with 9 characters or more in the first box and confirm the Password in the second box. When you are finished, click “Submit.”
I forgot my NetPartner Password
Click the Forgot Your Password? link below the LOG IN box. Enter your Student ID number and click “Submit.” You will be asked to verify your identity with a security question. Answer the question and select “Submit.” Enter a new Password of at least 9 characters. Confirm and submit the new Password. PLEASE NOTE: The Financial Aid Office will not be able to provide you with your Password.
Important for Parent(s):
If you are a dependent student we encourage you to share this portal with you parents. Due to privacy laws, students are only assigned user IDs and passwords for this system. It will be up to you to share your financial aid information with your parents if they are involved in your financial aid process. Parents do not have access to your Financial Aid Student ID or password.
